The Juniors program is dedicated to guiding our talented older youth players through their crucial transition from MiniRoos to senior football. This is a direct and supportive pathway designed to challenge players by consistently matching them against others of similar ability, fostering rapid growth, discipline, and resilience.

We utilize a structured training and match format, emphasizing larger playing sizes (such as 9v9) to fully prepare players for the demands of the full 11v11 game. Our core mission is to provide a developing platform of competition and coaching, ensuring every player gains the technical and tactical experience needed to reach their highest potential.

When are training sessions / games?

Training is on Wednesday and Friday nights (YCC teams also train on Monday nights), while games are played on Sunday mornings.

What is the cost of the program?

The club fees for our Juniors teams are as follows:

$1200 – Under 12 Boys
$1250 – Under 13 – Under 17 Boys

Note 1 – uniforms are not included in these fees but instead paid directly to our supplier.
Note 2 – Football SA affiliation fees are paid directly to Football SA when registering with the League.

Note 3 – Boys YCC teams have an additional $150 YCC fee.
How can I register for a Juniors team?

Junior positions are selected through a trial process that takes place every October. To enquire if there are any available positions, contact Chris on admin@westadelaide.com.au
